The GT POWER X2 mini 2x100W dual-channel charger is designed to provide everything you need to charge two batteries simultaneously "under one roof", including mains power and with simple operation.

The X2 mini is capable of charging popular cell types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb), in addition, both channels are equipped with built-in four-channel balancers for very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries.

The charger program is designed for practical users who buy a charger for charging batteries, not for looking at pretty pictures on a smartphone display. When powered from the mains, the X2 mini offers two power allocation modes for the channels - either the same power is available for both channels (max. 50 watts for both or max. 100 watts using only one channel). Or, the first connected battery is charged first at maximum power and the second at low power; as soon as the first battery is charged, the second battery starts charging at maximum power. When powered by a 24-volt car battery or a 19-26-volt mains power supply, the X2 mini achieves full 100-watt output power for both channels.

Overview of basic functions and parameters

  • Input supply voltage 19 - 26 V DC
  • Mains power supply 100-240 V/50-60 Hz
  • For charging 1 - 8 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1 - 4 Li-ion/Li-poly/Li-Fe/LiHV cells or 2-14 V lead-acid batteries
  • Adjustable charging current (0.1 A - 10.0 A)
  • Max. charging power 100 watts per channel (when powered by a 24-volt car battery or 19-26-volt mains - the power source must be at least 24 volts to fully utilize the charger's power)
  • Max charging power of 50 W per channel (mains supply)
  • Charging termination by automatic delta-peak for NiCd and NiMH batteries
  • Lithium and Pb batteries are charged using the "constant current/constant voltage" method.
  • Adjustable delta peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
  • Two charging modes for lithium batteries - fast charging and charging with emphasis on balancing
  • Termination of charging when the set time or delivered charge is exceeded
  • Memory for 10 charging programs for each channel.
  • Voltage measurement of total set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
  • Temperature sensor socket
  • Backlit LCD display with simple and clear menu and parameter display during charging
  • A number of warning text messages contribute to safe operation - incorrect input voltage, incorrect connection, unsuitable battery or its condition, wrong output polarity, etc.
  • Protection against reverse polarity and output short circuit.
  • Fan for forced cooling.
  • Compact plastic box, small size
  • Built-in power supply.

The charger is equipped with XT60 output sockets on both channels and universal sockets for JST-XH service connectors for direct connection of battery power cables and JST-XH service connectors of 2-4S kits - when using kits with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you can do without charging cables and adapters.

Note: The charger uses a terminal voltage of 2.40 V/cell when charging lead-acid batteries - for this reason it is suitable for charging classic lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries with a reversible valve. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged with a voltage higher than 2.30 V/cell.
