KAVAN CHARGER C14+ (KAV34.1014) AC/DC

The KAVAN C14+ 80W is designed to provide everything you need for charging "under one roof," including AC power and simple operation. The KAVAN C14+ is capable of charging and discharging popular cell types (NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion, LiFe, Pb), in addition, it comes with a built-in six-channel balancer that provides very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries.

In addition to its higher performance, it differs from the usual 50W chargers with a really smart software that enables functions that were typical of "machines" in much higher price categories:

• setting the final charge and discharge voltages for lithium batteries (allowing gentler charging, which aviators like, or on the contrary, brutal overcharging, which "automotive enthusiasts" love) and lead-acid batteries
• measurement of total voltage and voltage of individual cells (for lithium batteries) even outside the charging/discharging process
• measurement of the internal resistance of individual cells (for lithium batteries)
• current source mode with adjustable voltage limitation (max. 6 A/80 W)
• Intelligent battery charging mode (lithium batteries with built-in safety electronics

If you also connect a lithium charging kit through the service connector, you have the ability to monitor the voltage on individual cells throughout charging or discharging, and the built-in balancer equalizes the voltages on individual cells. the charger is equipped with sockets for JST-XH service connectors, and you can connect sets of other systems using adapters, which are sold separately.

You can buy a temperature sensor that will measure the temperature of charged/discharged batteries (available in our store).

Note: The charger for charging lead-acid batteries allows you to set the final voltage at 1.50-2.50 V/cell - for this reason it is suitable (if set correctly!) for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged to above 2.30 V/cell, as well as classic lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and reverse-valve gel batteries.

The charger kit includes: charger KAVAN C14+, mains cable, 12 V power cable with crocodiles, Dean-T charging cable with adapters for JST-BEC, JR/Futaba, with crocodiles and for compact glow plugs, instructions.
