The Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC55 charger is an improved version of the Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC16 charger.

Several improvements have been made to the new version including:

• lED signaling has been changed - the charger indicates charging progress with LEDs (red: 0-20%, yellow: 20-80%, green: 80-99%, when fully charged the LEDs turn off). In addition, the charger signals a potential problem with the battery by yellow blinking LEDs. The blinking of the red LED indicates a charging error (wrong batteries).
