The Imax B6AC charger has a built-in power supply, so it can be powered directly from 230V AC. It also has an input for a 11-18V DC power supply, so it is possible to use an external power supply or connect to a car battery.

The optimized operating software of the Imax B6AC charger has an AUTO function which controls the charging speed while charging and discharging. In the case of lithium batteries, this can prevent overheating which can lead to explosion due to wrong parameter setting by the user. The charger will automatically disconnect the circuit and start an alarm in the event of any failure. All operating modes of this charger are automatically controlled in order to achieve maximum safety. All settings are user configurable.
