The iMAX B6 charger is a quick and easy to use charger for NiCd / NiMh and lithium batteries.

Optimized operating software.
The iMAX B6 has an AUTO function that controls the charging speed while charging and discharging. In the case of lithium batteries, this can prevent overheating which can lead to an explosion due to wrong parameter setting by the user. The charger will automatically disconnect the circuit and start an alarm in the event of any failure. All operating modes of this charger are automatically controlled in order to achieve maximum safety. All settings are user configurable.

Maximum security:
Delta-peak: automatic termination program based on the delta-peak voltage detection principle. When the battery voltage exceeds the threshold, the process will end automatically.

Automatic charging current limitation:
You can set the upper limit of the charging current when charging NiCd or NiMH batteries. This function is useful for charging NiMH batteries with low impedance and power in the "AUTO" charging mode.

Temperature limitation:
The internal chemical reaction of the battery may cause the temperature of the battery to rise during charging. If the temperature limit is reached, the charging process will end. This function is available when an optional temperature probe is connected, which is not included with the charger.

High power and efficiency:
iMAX B6 has a maximum output power of 80W. Thanks to this, it has the ability to charge or discharge up to 15 NiCd / NiMH cells or 6 lithium cells with a maximum current of 6 A.

Maximum charger power:
The actual maximum power of the charger is automatically limited to 80 W, so it is not possible to exceed the maximum power of the charger. The maximum discharge power is approximately 5W. The discharge current is limited by the charger and the internal thermal sensor. If the internal temperature exceeds 80 degrees Celsius, the charger will stop the process and the message "TEMP OVER ERR" will appear on the LCD. In this case, reduce the discharge current.

Internal independent lithium battery balancer:
The iMAX B6 has an internal cell balancer. It is not necessary to connect an external balancer.

Balancing of individual cells during charging and discharging:
While discharging, the iMAX B6 can monitor and equalize the voltage of each battery cell individually. If the voltage of a single cell is incorrect, an error message will appear and the process will end automatically.

Adaptable to different types of lithium batteries:
iMAX B6 is adapted to different types of lithium batteries such as Li-ion, LiPo and the new series of LiFe batteries.

"Fast" and "storage" modes of lithium batteries:
There are various methods of charging lithium batteries. "Fast" reduces the charging time while the "storage" method controls the final battery voltage. This method is best for long-term storage and protects battery life.

Charge Data Storage:
The iMAX B6 can store data from five different batteries. The user can set charge / discharge parameters for a given type of battery and load these settings to charge the battery without any additional programming.

Cyclic charging / discharging of batteries:
Up to 5 charge / discharge cycles can be set.

Data analysis on PC via USB port:
For technical experts, iMAX B6 offers a PC program with which you can analyze the characteristics of the batteries via the USB port. It is possible to obtain graphs of voltage, current, capacitance and temperature curves. The program also shows the individual voltage of each cell in lithium batteries. (Analysis software and USB cable are not included)
