Chopped carbon fiber is an excellent filler for epoxy resins, used, among other things, when laminating model parts. Chopped carbon fiber also increases the compressive and tensile strength of any epoxy resin, and strengthens structural components in areas that are difficult to laminate, such as edges or corners.
