Flight mechanics of aircraft models - Theory and practical solutions.

An indispensable item in every modeler's library dealing with remotely controlled aircraft models, both for those who build models from scratch and for those who use models from sets. In the book you will find the basics of the theory of flight mechanics, allowing you to understand the behavior of models in the air, as well as practical advice on designing new models and modifying existing ones. The calculations and examples throughout the position are based on the free XFLR5 software, which greatly facilitates the analysis of the models.

In the book we will find, among others discussion of the position of the center of gravity, the angle of mutual wedge of the wing and the tailplane, the basics of aerodynamics, the method of reconstructing historical aircraft profiles and their modification for modeling applications. We will also find a description and analysis of various structural systems - from classical systems to flying wing systems and asymmetric systems. All this is crowned with two examples: the design of the trainer model and the design of the I-22 Iryda aircraft mock-up.
