BOOK AIRPLANES, GLIDERS .. MOTO RETRO

The second album in the MOTO RETRO series is dedicated to the aviation of the Second Polish Republic. In over 120 photographs from the National Digital Archives, we show the fascinating world of airplanes, gliders and balloons, which in pre-war Poland aroused widespread interest and pride in its achievements. Even then, Polish pilots became famous in the world, winning the most important aviation competitions in the world, and their successes were achieved on excellent machines of Polish construction and production. The most prominent aviators - Żwirko, Skarżyński, Bajan - were then as popular in the country as our best athletes are today.
