Aramid fabric is characterized by tensile strength and very high mechanical resistance, which is why aramid is used, among others, for the production of bulletproof vests, as well as for the production of the highest class kayaks, boats, protective helmets, covers and in many other areas. In modeling, it is used to build flying models, boats, wherever there is a need to make elements resistant to high mechanical forces. The material can be used sandwiched with carbon fabric. The fabric can be cut with special Kevlar scissors or a very sharp knife, some modellers use ordinary scissors sharpened at an angle of 67 degrees. Contrary to the carbon fabric, the aramid fabric does not shield electromagnetic waves, so there is no need to extend the receiver's antennas outside the structure of the model. The structure and weave of the fibers allow for precise arrangement of the material in the forms. It is perfectly filtered with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins. For greater strength, it is recommended to lay the fibers alternately (crosswise). In the construction of models, in order to achieve high strength and relatively low weight, we recommend the use of L-285 or LH-385 resins (replacement for L-285 resin)
