Kit Contents:

  • vario sensor, 15cm cable.

Characteristic:
The Vario sensor measures the rate of climb and descent, which will be appreciated mainly by glider pilots. The sensor includes a differential pressure sensor, sensitivity 5cm / s, absolute height resolution 30cm.

The sensor is placed inside the hull of the model, no calibration is required. The sensor works up to a height of 6000m and in the temperature range 0 - + 50 ° C. It should be connected to the X-Bux bus of the TM1000 telemetry module.

Current cooperation of the Vario sensor as of March 10, 2014:

  • Spektrum DX7S - not displayed, waiting for the release of a new firmware
  • Spektrum DX8 (old type) - Currently only flight altitude is displayed
  • Spektrum DX6 (SPM6700), DX9, DX10t, DX18, DX18QQ and all G2 transmitters - Full interoperability, height and vario value can be displayed. Alarms can be set, the ascent / descent rate is displayed on the screen, where there is also a time graph of the ascent / descent rate. The chart timeline can be set from 5 seconds to 1 minute. The rate of climb is recognized by pitch - the higher the frequency of the pitch, the higher the rate of climb, and vice versa.
